Just another day...

OH MY GOD!

I cannot believe I have won a prize on the UKS Cyber Crop, I just cannot believe my layouts were picked over all the other lovely work. 

I am to say the least a tad shocked and very happy!!  I have won gift vouchers from PaperArts which is fab as im supposed to be on a stash diet and trying to save money everywhere I can!!

Today is to be filled with chores and getting things ready to go onto Ebay tomorrow.  A boring task but it does clear out prior to not only the twin's Birthday in October but the other influx of toys in December also know as the silly season that is Christmas!! LOL  I have never seen so many toys in one house it's crazy - they certainly cannot play with all of them so I'm making an executive decision!!  THEY ARE OUT!!

If anyone local wants to buy a Little Tykes Country Kitchen, a Barbie 9V Scooter or a 9V Quad Bike please email me!!

Summer Holiday!!!???

Weather has changed dramatically, having had a very hot few weeks it's a shock to the system to have to wrap up again!!

Been working on layouts for the UK Scrappers Cyber Crop, always like doing these as it forces (well gently!) into doing some scrapping and probably creating something you otherwise wouldn't have.

Wed Class was from PaperArts and was a fabby Doodling/Journalling Class, I love to doodle so this was right up my street - so much so I did a layout of both Em and Ollie in the same style!! 

Excuse the poor photo - really must get a new scanner or figure a way the one I have can actually scan properly without changing the colours with each scan - been driving me up the WALL!

Today is pretty much the same, going to start a layout from a Class by Lynn at Crafty Pastimes - you can see the class and others here on uks!!

Spent a lovely afternoon yesterday at Wroxham Barns, a picnic followed by a visit to the Junior Farm.  Emillie and Oliver still get excited even though they have been quite a few times, and get braver and braver when feeding the sheep and goats.  The duck pond was almost dry and very very green due to the weather we have had recently.

Today was a quite day at home finishing a Wedding order and listing like mad on ebay, god thats a borning task!  49 down and about 120 to go!!  I'll be here all year at this rate!!

The CC on UKS tomorrow - it's a slow less manic version compared to the Mardi Gra last time so looking forward to a calm set of challenges and tasks. 

Working Weekend....

Worked today at our Hellesdon branch which makes a really nice change.  It's a nice office in a great location and is also close to ma and pa's house who had Em and Ollie today.  Managed to blag a 1930's bureau with glass cabinet top, a victorian roll top bath and an original victorian metal bed - now how the hell did I do that you ask??  Definately in the right place at the right time!!  Selling houses IS FAB!!!!!   Most need some restoring but hell im up for that!!

You know I mentioned that for my birthday I got a new sewing machine - can you tell me why I spent hours and hours hand sewing this layout with embroidery thread!!!????

Got the bug back...

Have certainly got the bug to scrap back, even tidying my office so I can have a real go tonight, at the moment you cannot find a thing.  Am also doing a massive clearout of stash, half of which is still unopened - bet I'm not the only one in this position!! LMAO!!

Managed one layout at the crop last night, took my time and didn't rush it.  Also managed to cover one side of a new CJ I have just signed up for so finally getting there !

So by this time next week I should have lots and lots finished and my stash load should be a bit lighter - all the more reason to just see what's new LMAO!!

Cyber crop next week on UKS and looking forward to it, im in the TIME team as I want to do a book of E&O's first months.

There are also lots and lots of heritage layouts I'd like to do as ive still got a three pack of Basic Grey Albums which were bought for this purpose at Christmas!!  Always got a project or 10 to complete me!!

Also bought myself a new sewing macine so look out for EVERYTHING to have stitching on it LMAO!!  £40 from Tescos and it worked fine on a pair of trousers so cannot wait to try it on some cardstock!

Start of Summer Hol's ....

Another weekend of work work work, actually I don't really mean that as I do love going to work - the only job ive ever had where I get such a buzz from it I would go in every day - SAD, I hear you cry, but thats how it is!!

My Sis in Law works in another of our offices (got her the job about 2 mth ago) got her first sale and negotiated a full asking price offer yesterday and she's soooo happy I cannot believe it - WELL DONE SARAH!!

Off to Roundacres Crop tonight, looking forward to it as I haven't been to many yet this month and do miss going!

Em and Ollie are off school for the next 6 weeks or so, not even sure of the date they go back, can you believe the school have'nt issued me the new dates!!  Going downhill me thinks!  It will be their last year of pre-school and that is a bit shocking for me, soon they will be in first school!! Last time I looked they were babies!

So the challenge this week is to keep them occupied and find new places for us to go and things to see!!  I think the list will be Wroxham Barns, Sea-Life Centre in Hunstanton, Hopton - Swimming, Gressenhall (probably), Bressingham Railway.  To be honest there are quite a few places to go in Norfolk and for me a possible trip to Scrapagogo if their store is open yet.

Missed my local monthly crop this month, seems im not going to many at all at the moment.  Working at weekends is clashing with Flutterby Design's crops so im lacking in venues!!  I do find it good to get out and talk to peeps who don't think i'm mad or weird because I scrapbook!

Alison - are you doing Friday night crops still!?!?!?!  Need a fix!! LOL

Been ages AGAIN since I updated my blog, been alot happening but none of it is very exciting!!

Spent last weekend at Hopton on Sea in Suffolk, had a good time.  Emillie is developing a love of the surf just as much as me!!

Managed one layout today for a UKS Weekly Challenge that our team are hosting, bit late but at least I finished it!!

Have completed quite a few wedding orders in the past two weeks and still have a couple to do!  Work is steady!  Speaking of work I now have more hours at the Property Shop and am also being asked to do some Accounts from home, seems I cannot get away from being in Accounts!!

{Scraphappy Crop Day}

I always enjoy going to our local crop in Thorpe Marriott and yesterday was no different.  Only wish I could have been there from 12 and not stroll in at 2.30pm after a manic morning at work, granted I only have to stroll two doors down which is soooooooo handy!! 

During the past few weeks I haven't found much time or even really wanted to do much in the way of Scrapbooking and yesterday I was determined to do at least one layout and finally managed two, I have a few bits to finish on the second, here is the other though!  It was entered into a layout competition and I actually won - never ever win anything - My prize was a set of Dovecraft Chalks which I have wanted for a while so that was fab - thanks to Bev (Bevvie on UKS) and thanks to Alison for a fab crop and the chat!

Sunday is work alone day which means I get loads done and have a chance to call all my clients, which in turn means possible viewings and then possible sales = ££££ Commission!! LOL  BTW in case you didnt know I am an Negotiator for Property Shop in Thorpe Marriott branch.  It's a fab job and I really can say I love going to work!  (sad I know!! LOL)

Monday is tidy house day and a possibility of a crop at Roundacres starting 6.30pm.  More potential to overspend - I will be good though - I promise!! LOL
